The meeting of the Lowden Public Library Board of Trustees was called to order by President Tanya Stewart.
Roll Call:
Present: Rodney Schneider, Rose Horman, Tanya Stewart
Library Director: Ann Harms
Absent: Laurie Millam, Danita Washburn
Visitors: August Harms, Heather Conrad
Approval of Agenda:
Motion by Rose Horman, second by Rodney Schneider, to approve the agenda as presented.
Ayes: All
Approval of Minutes:
Motion by Rose Horman, second by Rodney Schneider, to approve the previous meeting minutes.

Treasurers Report:
Treasurer, Laurie Millam was not presented for the financial report for the period ending July 2026. The Board of Trustees looked over the Library Reports emailed from City Hall.
Motion to accept City Hall Library’s Reports by Rodney Schneider, second by Rose Horman
Approval of Bills:
Motion by Rodney Scheider, second by Rose Horman, to approve library bills for July 2026.

Library Director’s Report:
Director Ann Harms presented the library report. Circulation for July totaled 431 in materials. Programming was reviewed and discussed for each date. Ice Cream tickets for Summer Reading were paid to Good Times in the amount of $26.00 out of petty cash. Accreditation is due February of 2027 and policies/procedures will be updated as needed through the rest of the year. The new State Library Consultant is Jennifer Smith.

Motion by Rodney Schneider, second by Rose Horman, to approve July book order.

President’s Report:
President Tanya Stewart addressed scheduling. RaeAnne is looking at other job opportunities that may conflict with Saturday hours. The Collection and Internet Policies were given out to go over and address for August’s meeting. Ann is to reach out to the State Library in regards to ages on computers.
