The meeting of the Lowden Public Library Board of Trustees was called to order by President Tanya Stewart.

Roll Call:
Present: Rodney Schneider, Rose Horman, Tanya Stewart, Danita Washburn
Library Director: Ann Harms
Absent: Laurie Millam

Approval of Agenda:
Motion by Danita Washburn, second by Rodney Schneider, to approve the agenda as presented.
Ayes: All

Approval of Minutes:
Motion by Rodney Schneider, second by Danita Washburn, to approve the previous meeting minutes.
Ayes: All

Treasurers Report:

Treasurer, Laurie Millam was not presented for the financial report for the period ending September 2026. The Board of Trustees looked over the Library Budget Reports emailed from City Hall.

Motion to accept City Hall Library’s Budget Reports by Rose Horman, second by Danita Washburn

Approval of Bills:
Motion by Rodney Schneider, second by Rose Horman, to approve library bills for September 2026.
Ayes: All

Library Director’s Report:
Director Ann Harms presented the library report. Circulation for September totaled 458 in materials. Programming was reviewed and discussed. Ann stated that she is now a Notary and will offer the service at the library when she is available. A grant was submitted to the Community Foundation for large print books.

Approval for October book order:

Motion by Danita Washburn, second by Rose Horman, to approve October book order.

Motion by Rodney Schneider, second by Danita Washburn to approve October programming order.

President’s Report:
President Tanya Stewart and Trustees finalized the Collection Policy, Circulation Policy, Notary Policy and Internet/Printer Policy. Library repairs and updates were discussed. Work session for other policies is set for 10/7/2026 @ 1:00 and 10/14/2026 @ 1:00.
